I just learned about PubMed-EX, a new Firefox Addon which performs text-mining on any record in PubMed and provides additional background information on key terms in little pop-up boxes. A great feature if you regularly search PubMed.
I’ve already added it to the research guide I created on Library and Research widgets.

That’s pretty cool! As an avid greasemonkey user and a scientist, I love finding stuff like this! I’ve shared this with the LSW and Life Science groups on Friendfeed and I’m sure they’ll love it, too.
BTW, I know you’re a Zotero fan, but have you had a chance to check out Mendeley? I’m trying to assemble a panel of web-savvy librarians to help guide them on issues of importance to academic librarians. Would you be interested in joining?
